"O you who believe, you shall remember God frequently; glorify Him day and night." [33:41]

Do you think about work most of the time, then that is your God.

Do you think about your family most of the time, then that is your God.

Do you think about your spouse most of the time, then that is your God.

Do you think about money most of the time, then that is your God.

Do you think about business most of the time, then that is your God.

Do you think about your children most of the time, then that is your God.

Whatever or whomever we love and cherish the most is what or whom we think about most of the time. It or They occupies our thoughts, our hearts, and our emotions throughout the day.

Hence, our god is whomever we love and cherish the most.

So, if we claim that GOD truly is our god, then we have to check and see if GOD alone occupies our minds and our hearts most of the time.

To put this commandment into practice, we must establish certain habits whereby we guarantee that God occupies our minds more than anything else.
